Incumbent must successfully pass the State's certification test required from the state Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) security official (if required by the State). This position requires business travel 15% of duty time. In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes experience in performing lead and administrative duties with planning and assigning work to be accomplished for short and long term priorities; experience in preparing schedules for completion of work; experience in setting employee standards/objectives for performance and preparing performance evaluations; experience with working in a Federal, State, municipal, local or private organization that involves the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass and maintaining order, protecting life; writing and reviewing incident reports and responding to emergency situations and security breaches. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
