Experience:
For GS-13 - One year of specialized experience which includes providing transportation support services to military, government civilian and contractor personnel, garrison and tenant activities. Serve as advisor on matters relating to transportation operations. Serve as a subject matter expert on transportation and traffic management issues, policies, procedures, and related issues. Provide timely, sound advice, recommendations, and assistance. Attend conferences, participate in the formulation of plans; receive advance information of operations to be conducted, maneuvers and training exercises to be supported; obtain information and training on new systems and procedures; discuss and resolve transportation operation problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). For GS-12:
One year of specialized experience providing transportation support services to military, government civilian and contractor personnel. Assist with transportation operations, transportation and traffic management issues, policies, procedures, and related issues. Attend conferences and obtain information of operations to be conducted, maneuvers and training exercises to assist with support functions. Assist with identifying and resolving transportation operation problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
