Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor-Foreman

several Field Supervisors.

The Landscape Grounds Management Field Supervisor is a hands-on position supervising a year-round crew with commercial and/or residential landscape maintenance services as well as performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and train maintenance crews on all aspects of grounds management services
  • Mowing, raking, digging and weeding of landscapes
  • Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
  • Schedule and monitor daily work loads
  • Bagged and Bulk Material handling
  • Schedule and monitor daily work loads of Bland Landscaping employees and our subcontractors
  • Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
  • Perform and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings
  • Submit daily BOSS Mobile Timesheet
  • Administrative Paperwork
  • Truck and Trailer standardization and cleanliness
  • Use of technology for communication
  • Communicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planning
  • Daily start up and shut down procedures

  • Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers)
  • Ability to adjust irrigation controllers and basic knowledge of irrigation components

    • Backpack blowers and sprayers
    • Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools
    • On occasion wheel tractors
  • May be asked to help in other divisions
  • Participate in snow removal in the winter months

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
