Description:
This position is responsible for general configuration management support .
Will be performing Configuration Management reviews of Engineering Changes to include
Verification of proper configuration depiction and consistency across design documents and databases.
Verification all information needed to perform the as-built configurations of design documents and databases after Engineering Change implementation is included.
Review of document changes to verify depicted equipment is adequately populated in EDB for station use.
Review of document symbols and depiction for consistency with drawing standards and industry practices.
Verifying drawing legibility for station users.
This position is responsible for creating, revising, deleting, reviewing and assessing equipment data records in the Equipment Database (EDB) consistent with approved engineering changes.
Qualifications:
Must understand logical relationships and information structures.
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school.
Area of specialization: Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
Background in engineering or maintenance of nuclear power plants is preferred
Familiarity with database systems and data management systems is preferred
A demonstrated knowledge of the PassPort system is required with specific emphasis on Equipment Data, Engineering Change, Work Management, Supply Chain and Controlled Document modules are required
A demonstrated knowledge of the Engineering Change and Equipment Data Base maintenance process is required.
Access Database programming experience is desirable
A demonstrated knowledge of drawing reading and interpretation for multiple disciplines is preferred
A working knowledge of CAD drafting, Microstation, DeCartes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
