Job Description:
This is highly skilled work in the operation of a variety of heavy and complex equipment.
Work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient /high production operation heavy equipment.
Work is reviewed by a supervisor through inspection of work while in progress and upon completion.
Duties:
Operates heavy construction equipment including bulldozer and front-end loaders.
Must be team oriented.
Performs light maintenance and servicing work in connection with the operation of heavy equipment.
Additional Requirements:
High school diploma from an accredited school or its equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid phone number and valid driver's license.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation of various construction and maintenance equipment.
Pass pre-employment and random drug screens.
Working Environment & Physical Demands
Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24 high.
Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
